Tues –

Dear Folks,

Just bought my plane ticket. Will arrive in K.C. Wed. evening at 9:30 P.M. Dot will stay in K.C.

Went swimming in the ocean yesterday & sunburned my rear as well as arms & back. Be much more comfortable without clothes. Took an 18 mile cruise up the Gulf & so (sic) lots of ships like Grimes will sail on. Right now, we are packing one suit case & box to send home. Have to go shopping this afternoon so better get in gear!

See you tomorrow night! Sure hate to leave Grimes by himself but Russell is home & maybe he will come down here.

Love,
Celia
